Yay dinner
Feb. 28th, 2002 09:40 pmWe bought some asparagus the other day because I've been wanting some for a while. Problem is I haven never cooked it before. No Problem! For once I did something well in the kitchen. The cookbook said one option is to roast it with a little olive oil. That's all it said. No times, no temps, no spices or quantity of anything. So I did it. Yay! It turned out pretty darned perfect for a first encounter with fresh asparagus, and no recipe!
So we had asparagus, baked potato, and green salad. Healthy, good, yay.
(good grief, if I'm not manic depressive, I don't know what it could be. This morning I couldn't see any point in living, and tonight I'm excited about asparagus.)
