One of those mornings

artisanal_xaraSo I'm sitting at my computer, eating my breakfast, just like I usually do. My raisin bran decides to do a double twisting back flip into my lap, throwing milk and cereal everywhere. I'm completely drenched. When I stand up and try to walk to the kitchen to clean up, I leave a trail of cereal the whole way.
As I return with towels to clean up the disaster, I see Faye eating raisin bran off the floor. This is only a little unusual. She usually only goes for toxic things like rubber bands to eat off the floor. I shoo her away and begin to clean up (still sticky from the mess myself, I might add).
Upon returning to the kitchen to shake out my towel, I hear a cat owner's most dreaded sound. "Hack hack" coming from the pet food area. I arrive just in time to see Faye puke up some nasty mush. It's not her typical puke either, It's all gross and runny. So while I'm cleaning that up, Faye has gone into the living room, where she proceeds to puke up another nice pile of nastiness.
So this morning between 11 and 11.15 I got the wonderful opportunity to clean up a raisin bran trail from the office to the kitchen and two warm squisy piles of kitty puke.
I'm afraid to say that It couldn't get much worse.
