Feb. 3rd, 2002 11:48 amThe toads seem to like their pond area more and more. I'm not sure what they like more about it now than before. We got the new filter/heater/pump, and rearranged a little. The big rock is right in the middle now, and we got some under water grass. I understand that they like the grass, but I don't know why moving the rock away from the wall made any difference.
We put the aireator (sp?) on the pump. We had it turned way too high last night for a while. The whole water area was covered in white foamy bubbles. After we turned it down most of the bubbles eventually went away. But everything is very humid now. The walls near the pump are moist from the humidity. I wonder if it's because all those bubbles popped last night after we went to bed. Maybe the humidity will go down in a while. It could also have something to do with the fact that it's warm in the aquarium but cold in the apartment.
