Jan. 29th, 2004 12:02 amFell down twice this morning getting to work. Once in our yard, and once half way down our street. The first one I fell on my hip, catching myself with arms, knees, etc on the way down, and it wasn't too bad. The second time my feet went straight back, and my torso straight forward so I landed basically on my chest and face, completely flat. Once we got on the bigger street through the neighborhood we were ok. I didn't think I did much damage at the time, but I hurt all over for the rest of the day.
Today was much worse than yesterday because all the melting turned to a very thick layer of ice on top of the snow. Tomorrow should be even worse in that respect. I'm driving in tomorrow dammit. My body can't take falling down again.
The low tonight will be around 17, but the high tomorrow is almost 50. That should melt off the nasty ice.
