Aah, beautiful rainy day! George is leaving to go spend the day helping his parents move furniture and hang a door. What's that mean? An afternoon to myself. I think I'll watch some football on television. Shame we don't get any good channels anymore. Oh well, I can watch Florida State.

when ileft california, it rained on me in arizona and in new mexico. when i left new mexico the next day, it rained on me in new mexico and in texas. when i left texas, it rained on me in texas, louisiana, mississippi, but mississippi and alabama were dry. georgia, south carolina and north carolina it was rainy. it's been raining since i got here. my poor room mate who made the drive with me has spent the last year in portland, he just wants it to stop. =p

Yes, but this week is the only rain we've had all summer. Summers here are supposed to be hot sunny days and wonderful thunder storms every evening. We've had almost none of those wonderful thunder storms at all, and if you've listened to any local news you'll know that we're in a massive drought.

I'm happy to see the sun today, but I sure did enjoy some rain for a change. :-)
