Why did our apartment and the hotel across the street feel the need to water the lawns last night in the rain? I know the water restrictions prevent them from watering on any day other than Wednesday, but if it's already been raining all day isn't that just a huge waste of water? The water wasn't even staying on the grass; everything was so saturated that it was all running off into the street. So much for water conservation. I thought about calling the police and reporting them.
