artisanal_xaraI don't feel so well. I got up today, mulled around for a while, and went back to bed. Got up again for a while, but went to bed again not long after. So I've been up for about 5 hours today, maybe less. I'm not tired, but I feel rotten, and bed seems like the least hostile place for me, and I'm resisting the urge to go crawl back in bed again. :(
Yesterday we passed up the opportunity to pick out a new guitar for George for his birthday. A few days ago we mentioned, somewhat jokingly to his parents that they might get him a guitar for his birthday, and they were ready to buy one yesterday. We went to Harry's and looked around, but were incredibly overwhelmed. The same guy who helped us before talked to us about picking out an instrument, and was very helpful. While it was a wonderful offer, neither of us feel like we're ready to spend that much money on a second instrument until we've proven that we're going to stay with it for a while. So we deferred the offer until Christmas. The only justification I can see for buying a second guitar right now is if we could take a lesson together, but both needed a guitar to participate. Since we can't afford lessons right now we can wait for the guitar.
