My spinach dip is on fire!
Aug. 22nd, 2002 08:05 pmGeorge made some spinach dip the other day. The recipe called for some hot sauce, but we didn't have any so he went for cayanne pepper instead. He apparently added some, tasted it, decided it didn't have much flavour, and added some more. I don't how how many times he added a little more pepper, but in the end he told me it was still pretty flavourless. Boy, was he wrong. I don't know if his pepper taste buds are just turned off this week or what, but it's definitely got some heat. It's pretty good, I just don't usually think of my spinach dip as being hot and spicy.
