I found a neat slipper pattern last night. It uses 7 squares sewn together to form the slipper. You can do them with contrasting colors, or whatever else you like. I'm thinking I'm going to make a pair. I don't actually need a new pair of slippers, but maybe I can think of some way to give them more padding and/or support than my other slippers, so that they're better for my feet than walking around barefoot.
I thought that if Susan is still a Harry Potter fan round Christmas, I might try to work a red pair with a gold lion on the front square or something. Or maybe just lightning bolts. I'll think of something.
