Jun. 8th, 2002 01:18 amToday after we got back from Target I ended up looking at the N&O's classifieds online. I found a couple of things that I want to look into. This is great improvement for my general well-being, to think that there might be something worth doing with the next few months.
I also did some yoga tonight. It, too, was very good for me. It's amazing how much the body can deteriorate from a month without exercise. But I can get it back, have no fear.
So, on
shyeyes's suggestion, I'm going to start making some goals and timetables for myself again. I need structure, or I can't get anything done. I'm going to start small, just tomorrow, for now.
Tomorrow:
- Get out of bed no later than 9 a.m.
- EXERCISE!!! preferably starting about 10 so that I can be done in time for the regular Saturday routine.
- Suggest something healthy for lunch with the Masons tomorrow. We've done both Souper Salad and Subway recently. I'll think about what healthy lunch we could get tonight.
- Go to The Potted Plant after lunch and see about one of their summer positions that they advertise in the newspaper.
- Finally... Relax, try not to get annoyed at George just because he's the only person around long enough to get annoyed at, enjoy the wonderful summer weather (but don't get sun burnt).
If I do all (or even most) of that tomorrow I will feel like I've made very good progress. The two most important things are the exercise and the greenhouse job. Getting out of bed at a reasonable hour will have a large influence over whether or not I exercise. Not sleeping all morning is also very probably going to put me in a better mood all day. Feeling healthy and happy will make me more likely to eat a healthy lunch, and more likely to go to the greenhouse and apply. (it'll also help me come off as a cool person once I've gotten there.) Here's hoping I get my butt out of bed tomorrow morning. :)
