And now for today...
Mar. 26th, 2002 08:36 pmThe bus thing wasn't nearly as stressful as I was afraid. I did spend a long time at lunch today walking around trying to figure out where the outbound bus stop was until I realized it was right across from the library. Otherwise, it was a piece of cake. Reading on the bus, aah.
Then there was this evening. We knew the weather was supposed to be unpredictable today, and maybe we might get thunder storms. Well, about 7pm they came in full force. Oh boy did they! George and I turned off the lights in the apartment and went and sat on the porch to watch. It was awesome. We got a little wet, but it was great. We were apparently facing right toward the center of the storm. We'd see a HUGE lightning, and several long seconds later the thunder would start to rumble. One of the thunders sounded like it went right above our heads. It started out to the north, traveled directly above our heads, and continued to the south. We saw a flash associated, but didn't see where it came from. This afternoon while I was waiting for the bus I had noticed that it went very quickly from hot and sunny to cloudy and breezy. I was loving the wind on my face, and I thought that there'd be a storm to follow. :-) I love weather!
