Mar. 25th, 2002 01:56 pmI'm on hold. I hate being on hold. I wish we had Mindspring back. Mindspring never gave us any problems. On the rare occasion that we had to deal with Mindspring customer or technical support, they were very helpful, and resolved our problem quickly. We called Earthlink a month ago, and they were supposed to get back with us within 2 weeks. They have not. Grrr.
The hold time is estimated to be Over Twenty Minutes. If you are having trouble connecting to the internet, please try cold booting your computer. We have found that a large percentage of our Technical Support calls are easily resolved by cold booting your computer. Cold booting is just a fancy way of saying turning your computer off for at least sixty seconds. Please turn off your computer and disconnect your DSL modem for at least sixty seconds. Then reconnect your modem and turn your computer back on. If your DSL modem works after your computer is rebooted, Please Hang Up, and Have a Nice Day!
